Depart from Rome in a comfortable, air-conditioned bus in the early morning, enjoying scenic views of the Italian countryside. After lunch, head to Montalcino, a perfectly preserved medieval town with a massive fortress. Start in the former convent of Sant’Agostino, now housing the Temple of Brunello interactive museum.
