Overview
Unleash your creativity in a 60-minute workshop that fuses Yuzen-inspired painting with Japanese calligraphy in Kyoto. Start by selecting a stencil design from a collection of 20 traditional patterns, like cherry blossoms and cranes, to create a vibrant design on a shikishi board. Guided by an expert instructor, you'll explore colors and layering techniques, regardless of your artistic background. Transition into the art of calligraphy using authentic sumi ink as you write a meaningful Japanese word or your name, adding a personal touch to your artwork. Capture the moment with a commemorative photo, leaving with a unique keepsake that embodies your Kyoto experience.
