Overview
This activity offers a rare opportunity to observe the production process of traditional Japanese paper goods such as goshuincho (temple stamp books) and watoji notebooks—items not typically seen by the public. With a guided tour, you'll gain insights into the work of experienced craftsmen and the precision involved in their handwork. Afterward, you’ll step into the craftsman’s shoes and make your own watoji notebook using your choice of yuzen washi paper from a wide selection. Whether you're visiting Kyoto for the first time or returning, this experience offers a unique glimpse into a different side of the city.
