Overview
Your experience begins by selecting one of Rome's iconic monuments as the inspiration for your artwork. Using prepared sketches and introductory exercises, you'll learn the basics of watercolor painting while exploring how pop art techniques can transform familiar landmarks into colorful and contemporary compositions. With guidance from your instructor, you'll experiment with transparency, color layering and bold contrasts, gradually developing your own interpretation of the city. The class is structured to be accessible for beginners while still offering creative freedom and opportunities for personal expression. By the end of the session, you'll leave with your own watercolor artwork inspired by Rome and a new appreciation for seeing the city through an artistic perspective.
