Overview
A private driver will pick you up directly from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. During the scenic drive south, you can relax and admire the landscapes of Campania. Upon arrival, you will visit Pompeii with an official Guide in a group of people or with an Audio Guide to discover the city buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.C. Walk through the perfectly preserved ruins of temples, houses, theaters and cobbled streets, immersing yourself in the daily life of ancient Rome. The visit takes about 2 hours. After the tour in Pompeii you will arrive at the Vesuvius National Park. Here you can climb to the crater rim and get a close look at one of the most famous active volcanoes in the world. You can walk independently while enjoying the scenery. After an exciting day, your driver will drop you off in Rome, arriving in the early evening.
