Guests may choose the Fushimi Jikkokubune boat ride at their own expense when it operates. Sakura views from the boat are only possible during cherry blossom season; outside that period, the ride offers canal scenery, greenery, hydrangeas, autumn colors, and sake-town views. Continue to Fushimi Inari for red torii gates, Kiyomizu-dera and Higashiyama for temple views and old lanes, and Gion or Kamogawa for wooden houses, lanterns, riverside scenery, and Kyoto’s seasonal atmosphere.
