Overview
Tours pick up and drop off at clients’ hotel. Tour pick up times are flexible but MUST be advised at time of booking. Tours do not include entrance fees. Suggested entrance tickets have been provided as a separate charge with each tour. Your route takes you through Kent, known as the Garden of England and on to Canterbury with its fine Norman Cathedral, also the scene of the murder of Thomas Becket before a visit to Dover with its white cliffs and castle. In the afternoon you will visit Leeds Castle, arguably the most beautiful castle in England. It was built in the middle of a lake and was home to the medieval Queens of England. Next visit either Chartwell, home of Sir Winston Churchill for over 49 years or Knole, one of the largest private houses in England, with it’s famous collection of 17th and 18th century furniture.
