Once you reach Mont saint Michel you will realize that it was worth travelling for hours to reach this magical island topped by a gravity-defying abbey, the Mont-Saint-Michel and its Bay count among France’s most stunning sights. For centuries one of Europe’s major pilgrimage destinations, this holy island is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the visit of Mont Saint Michel we head to the famous D Day Omaha Beach. Omaha Beach is a landing area in Normandy, northern France, used by Allied forces in the WWII D-Day invasion. Today, the beach is dotted with the remains of German bunkers. On the shore, the stainless-steel sculpture Les Braves commemorates American soldiers. After Omaha Beach we head back to your hotel in Paris.
