Overview
You’ll join one of our local Rome hosts to explore Italy’s diverse wine regions, without ever setting foot outside of Rome. Wander through the cobbled streets and stop at a handpicked venue, where you’ll sample a different wine accompanied by traditional Roman specialties. Learn how to pair wine with food as you sip on three selected wines and nibble on Prosciutto, specialty cheeses, and olives, discovering a variety of places like a subterranean wine cellar, an artisanal cheese shop, and the buzzing terrace of a wine bar. Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.
