Overview
Enjoy a tour of Vatican City with an expert Dutch-speaking guide. You will experience a unique visit in your own language and you will also avoid lengthy queues. The guide leads you through the Vatican Museums with highlights including the Animal Room, Laocoon and His Sons, the Torso of Belvedere, Nero’s Bath, and the Gallery with Flemish tapestries and Gallery of Geographical Maps. You'll then enter, in silence, the Sistine Chapel where on March 13, 2013, Pope Francesco was elected. Your passionate guide has since unraveled every secret of the chapel. You will get to know Michelangelo as if you were there yourself. During Covid-times we will not visit Saint-Peter's Basilica because of local restrictions. You can visit the basilica free of charge, on your own, before or after the tour. Your guide will reveal some of the highlights during the tour.
