Overview
There's so much to see in Rome that is for sure but this 7-hour (6 hours plus lunch at leisure) private tour will offer you the 'best of' experience at a good pace. Your tour will start at the iconic image of Rome, the Colosseum, as you explore the different levels. Walk over to the Roman Forum and hear the history behind this archaeological site and see where once was the center of the city. From here you'll walk towards the stunning Trevi Fountain where you can stop for a well-deserved lunch break before we continue. Pass by Palazzo Chigi on the way to one of the best-preserved buildings in Rome, the Pantheon then on to marvel at the outdoor museum in Piazza Navona. Make your way over the River Tiber to the Vatican City. Here you can see from outside St. Peter's Cathedral, the most important church in the Catholic world. It will be a day to remember full of history, architecture, art and culture!
