Overview
Trastevere means "beyond the river" and it is considered one of the most typical disctrict of Rome. Along this 2.5-hour tour you not only will discover Trastevere and its cosy alleys and hidden corners, but will sample the typical Italian and Roman street food. You will discover district's landmark such as the church of Santa Maria in Trastevere, risen around the first Christian community in Rome, Sistus Bridge, named after the pope who commissioned its restoration in 16th century, or Piazza Trilussa, dedicated to one of the most famous Roman dialect poet.
