3 hours Tokyo Film Tour with Harajuku and Sugamo
Uncover the vibrant contrasts of Tokyo’s neighborhoods on this immersive walking tour. Begin in Yoyogi Park, a calm oasis in the city, where you’ll encounter the iconic designer toilets featured in Wim Wenders’ film Perfect Days. From there, head into the buzzing heart of Harajuku, exploring Takeshita Street with its eclectic fashion boutiques, playful cafés, and colorful street scenes. This is Tokyo’s youth culture at its most expressive—keep your eyes open for avant-garde styles and kawaii trends. Next, change pace and discover Sugamo, often called “Grandma’s Harajuku.” Stroll down Jizo-dori, a nostalgic shopping street filled with traditional snacks, red underwear (for good luck!), and a warm sense of community. Here you’ll visit Koganji Temple, famous for its healing Togenuki Jizo statue, where locals wash ailing body parts to receive blessings of health.
